44th World Congress on Military Medicine

The 44th ICMM World Congress in Brussels was a success on the scientific level and in terms of official and cultural activities...

Dear National Delegate, Dear Colleague, Dear Reader,

The World Congress in Brussels lived up to all its promises... More than 900 participants enjoyed the scientific presentations and almost 500 of them were present every day of the congress week.

This success is not only due to a perfect organization by Belgium, but also thanks to the active participation of many international scientists involved in Military Medical Services from all over the world, as well as our partners from international organizations.

You will certainly be able to dive into the presentations of the main themes by following the link below which will take you to the different presentations (https://icmmworldcongress2021.org/slides.php) and the abstracts and posters presented. (https://icmmworldcongress2021.org/abstractbook.php).

Also, you will find a series of photos and the movie summarizing this fantastic week which was presented during the closing ceremony. (https://icmmworldcongress2021.org/index.php).

After this great experience, our Australian colleagues are preparing for a new edition. During the closing ceremony, the Australian National Delegate invited us all to this next big event of the International Committee of Military Medicine in September 2024 (https://icmm2024australia.com.au).

During the General Assembly, the countries that chair the regional groups announced their 2023 regional congresses in Egypt, Morocco and Greece. To date, all the dates are not yet known with precision, and we will not fail to inform you as soon as they are available on our site, under the heading "Activities and Projects".

All these high-quality scientific activities reinforce what our Founding Fathers dreamed of: an international committee of military medicine at the service of all countries to promote the exchange of knowledge. We are proud to pursue their noble goals.

Knowledge across borders!
