The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is the world federation of the national associations of pharmacists and drug scientists. Through its 137 member organizations, FIP represents and serves nearly three million pharmacists and drug scientists around the world. The FIP was founded in 1912 and its headquarter is in The Hague, the Netherlands.

Its mission is to improve the global health by promoting the progress of pharmaceutical practice and science in order to improve the discovery, development, accessibility and rational use of appropriate, high-quality drugs with a favourable cost-effectiveness ratio.

With the Memorandum of Understanding, the FIP and the ICMM agree to cooperate and consult each other on issues of common interest, particularly those related to health care, international humanitarian law and ethics.
