WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The General Directorate for Military Health organizes, under the Patronage of the National Defense Minister and with the collaboration of the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis, its 9^th Course on Methodology and Medical Writing during the period from June 06 to 10, 2022 at the Training school of the Military Health Services (TSMHS) in Tunis.

This course is part of continued professional development and organized for five years now in two simultaneous sessions conducted in both French and English languages. It is recommended by the International Committee of Military Medicine and is opened to the participation of Tunisian and ICMM country members’ medical officers. It is conducted by Tunisian military and civilian academic speakers from Faculty of Medicine of Tunis and other friend countries members of editorial and reading committees of a medical review.

The course targets physicians, general practitioners as well as specialists, dentists, pharmacists, and veterinaries, working in teaching hospitals or others medical facilities. Priority is for who are still conducting medical research studies or having medical publication project eager to be published. This course provides an opportunity to develop skills in methodology and medical writing fields and permits to finalize the creation of scientific papers to get more chances to be published in medical journals.

Medical officers and health staff are all invited to support this effort and take part massively to this course hoping to see all medical officers giving a special interest to the medical writing, especially in military medicine’s subjects of different specialties.
