WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Pan-Araband Maghreb Regional Working Group Member Countries’ Delegates,

First of all, I would like to wish you a happy New Year 2021. May this year be full of success and good health in these difficult times where we are required to preserve our countries’ military personnel and their operational readinessand also to support the national effort in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

I have the honor to convene all of you for a joint meeting by videoconference to both groups, Maghreb RWG and Pan-Arab RWG of Military Medicine, on February 9 and 10, 2021, with the participation of the Member States Military Health Directors, the ICMM SG and the ICMM Office Representatives. This meeting will permit to maintain continuity of communication between the member countries of the groups, given the cancellation of all recent medical congresses and international activities organized under the aegis of the ICMM.

You will find attached the meeting points of interest and a draft agenda. Thanks to confirm your participation in this important event and authorize one of your representatives to present an oral communication on the measures taken to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic in a military environment or as part of the armed forces’support to the national effort in your country.
