Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Tunisian General Directorate of Military Health organizes, in collaboration with Sidi Thabet National Veterinarians’ school and under the aegis of the International Committee of Military Medicine (ICMM), the 6^th Course on Water Management and Safety in Crisis Situations, in Tunis during the period May 16-20, 2022.

This course is part of a need identified as a priority. Indeed, water management and safety intended for human consumption is one of the key objectives of any health policy. It is of particular importance for the armed forces, especially in an operational context and in crisis situation.

This scientific event is recommended by the International Committee of Military Medicine (ICMM) and is conducted in French with a simultaneous translation into English. It will be led by Tunisian and French military and civilian faculty members and will be open to the participation of veterinary officers and personnel responsible for the water safety (medical, nurse, engineer and specialized technician) from ICMM country members.

This course offers opportunity to benefit from a qualified education in a specific area where training is tiny available. This session will permit to participants to broaden their knowledge and exchange experiences in the field of water management and safety in operational context and emergency situation. A particular place will be allocated to practical activities and to water management site visits.
