Dear colleagues and friends,

Tunisian General Directorate of Military Health organizes under the auspices of the International Committee of Military Medicine (ICMM) and in collaboration with the ICMM Reference Centre for Training in International Humanitarian Law and Ethics, Tunis 6th Course on Law of Armed Conflict in the Training school of the Armed Forces’ Health Service (EASSA) during the period of December 04-08, 2017.

This course offers the opportunity to the participants to benefit from a value education, in a specific area where training is little available, to expand their knowledge and share their experiences in the field of International Humanitarian Law and International Law of Armed Conflict.

This course focuses on issues of military medical ethics, Medical confidentiality and informed consent during conflict and during peacekeeping missions, the dual obligation of the health officer, human behavior in war times and legal proceeding of the war crime perpetrators.

This Tunis course is open to the participation of health officers and military judges from ICMM country members. It will be led by Tunisian and international speakers from ICMM Reference Center in both English and French languages. It is supported by the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Tunis.
