Dear colleagues and friends,

The General Directorate of Tunisian Military Health organizes under the auspices of the International Committee of Military Medicine (ICMM) and in collaboration with the ICMM Reference Centre for Training in International Humanitarian Law and Ethics, Tunis 3rd Course on Law of Armed Conflict in the Training school of the Armed Forces Health Service (EASSA) during the period of October 7 - 14, 2014.

This course offers to the participants the opportunity to benefit from a value education, in a specific area where training is not enough available, to expand their knowledge and share their experiences in the field of International Humanitarian Law and International Law of Armed Conflict.

This course focuses on issues of military medical ethics, Medical confidentiality and informed consent during conflict and during peacekeeping missions, the dual obligation of the health officer, human behavior in war times and persecution of the guilty of war crimes.

This course is open to the participation of health officers and military judges from ICMM country members mastering the French language and will be led by Tunisian and international speakers from ICMM reference center. It is supported by the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Tunis. On this occasion, we will be honored to welcome you among us to participate in this scientific event.
