PRELIMINIARY VISIT FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE
39^TH WORLD CONGRESS ON MILITARY MEDICINE

From June 13 to 18, an ICMM team, comprising the Assistant Secretary General, the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council, has been participating in a preparation visit of the 39^th World Congress on Military Medicine, to be held in Abuja (Nigeria) from November 20 to 25.

Several meetings took place with the members of the Congress Organizing Committee (COC) and the authorities of the Nigerian Ministry of Defence. A common assessment of the actions already performed regarding scientific sessions, administration, logistics, accommodation, security, social events and preparation of the ICMM General Assembly, has been done. The preparation of the 39^th World Congress on Military Medicine is on the good way.

The venue of the congress will be the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, in Abuja.
