Preliminary visit for the preparation of the
2^nd ICMM Pan European Congress of Military Medicine

On July the 7^th, an ICMM team, comprising the Secretary General, the Assistant Secretary General, the Chairman of the Scientific Council and the Director of International Relations, has been participating in a preparation visit of the 2^nd ICMM Pan European Congress of Military Medicine, to be held in Amsterdam (Netherlands) from the 4^th to the 8^th of June 2012.

A fruitful meeting took place with the members of the Congress Organizing Committee (COC). A common assessment of the actions already performed regarding scientific sessions, administration, logistics, accommodation, security, social events and preparation of the Pan European Regional Working Group’s Regional Assembly, has been done. The preparation of the 2^nd ICMM Pan European Congress of Military Medicine is on the good way.

The venue of the congress will be the Naval Barracks Amsterdam - Marine Etablissement A’dam (M.E.A.).

The main topics of the congress are focused on Military Medicine:
- Trauma
- Infectious diseases
- Psychiatry
- Training
- Ethical Dilemmas (parallel session)
